Job summary

Braintrust is seeking PhD-level experts to help train and evaluate advanced AI models. This fully remote, flexible contract work lets you shape how models reason, answer, and improve by reviewing AI-generated content in your field and identifying where the model earns or loses points.

The engagement runs through the end of June with potential to extend, and compensation can reach up to $150 per hour, depending on expertise, depth of experience, and assessment performance.

Qualifications

• PhD in ML/AI, CS, Engineering, Statistics, or related field (completed or near completion).
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities to spot subtle errors in reasoning.
• Fluent written English and ability to communicate complex ideas clearly.

Responsibilities

• Assess factuality and relevance of domain-specific text produced by AI models
• Craft and answering questions related to Machine Learning and AI
• Evaluate and rank domain-specific responses generated by AI models
