Job summary

Alignerr is seeking an Electrical Engineering Expert to help train and evaluate cutting-edge AI models. You will design challenging electrical engineering scenarios across circuit analysis, power systems, electromagnetics, and signal processing to test AI reasoning.

This is a fully remote, hourly contract with 10–40 hours per week, offering flexible scheduling and the opportunity to contribute to benchmark-driven AI development. Strong writing and independent work are essential.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or holding a Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering or closely related field.
• Strong knowledge of circuit analysis, power systems, or signal processing.
• Excellent written communication of complex technical concepts.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, asynchronous environment.

Responsibilities

• Design challenging problems - Create advanced electrical engineering scenarios across domains like circuit analysis, power systems, electromagnetics, and signal processing to rigorously test AI reasoning
• Author gold-standard solutions - Write detailed, step-by-step technical solutions that serve as benchmarks for AI learning and evaluation
• Audit AI outputs - Review and evaluate AI-generated circuit diagrams, mathematical proofs, and technical explanations for accuracy, safety, and compliance with engineering standards (e.g., IEEE, NEC)
• Improve AI reasoning - Identify logical flaws in AI-generated responses and provide structured, actionable feedback that sharpens model performance on engineering tasks
• Work on your schedule - Complete assignments asynchronously, with full flexibility over when and how much you work
