Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled DeFi Specialist to research, analyze, and implement DeFi opportunities across leading ecosystems. This fully remote role focuses on developing strategies, monitoring risk, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate DeFi solutions across products.

You will evaluate protocols, monitor performance, and stay ahead of regulatory shifts, delivering insightful reports and recommendations to shape the future of decentralized finance.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience and deep understanding of the DeFi landscape.
• Proficiency with DeFi protocols (Uniswap, Aave, Compound, Curve) and blockchain networks (Ethereum, Polygon, BSC).
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills for evaluating financial instruments and market data.
• Knowledge of smart contracts, token standards, and blockchain security principles.
• Familiarity with cryptocurrency trading and portfolio management.
• Excellent research and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly.
• Ability to work independently and proactively in a fully remote environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, CS, or a related field.
• Passion for blockchain technology and the future of finance.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and evaluate emerging DeFi protocols, platforms, and opportunities.
• Develop and execute strategies for participation in DeFi ecosystems (lending, staking, yield farming).
• Monitor performance of DeFi investments and manage risk.
• Research tokenomics, governance models, and market trends in DeFi.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to integrate DeFi solutions.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes affecting DeFi.
• Prepare reports and presentations on DeFi market analysis and strategic recommendations.
• Identify and mitigate risks of DeFi protocols and smart contracts.
• Educate internal teams on latest DeFi developments and best practices.
