Job summary

Synthires is seeking an experienced Financial Systems & Accounting Expert for a remote contractor role to support a customer project focused on accounting operations, financial systems, and AI model training.

You will apply real-world accounting judgment, review AI outputs for accuracy, and provide clear feedback to project and model teams, with emphasis on non-AI-only workflows and hands-on ERP experience. Strong English communication and reliability required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on professional experience in financial accounting or related fields.
• Experience preparing or reviewing journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.
• Experience with ERP platforms listed (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Xero, Sage Intacct, Dynamics 365, Workday).
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Prior paid experience supporting human-data activities for AI training.
• Strong written and verbal English communication (B2 level or above).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated accounting outputs for technical accuracy and explanations.
• Assess outputs against accounting standards and practices.
• Review financial statements, reconciliations, and month-end close workpapers.
• Identify misstatements and provide treatments with rationale.
• Evaluate workflows across major ERP and accounting platforms.
• Apply rubrics and grading guidelines when rating AI outputs.
• Flag complex cases for review.
• Provide actionable written feedback to project and model teams.
