Stroke Aotearoa New Zealand invites applications for a Community Stroke Navigator (Kaiārahi) to work across Nelson, Tasman, Marlborough and Kaikoura regions. You will build relationships with communities, identify need and guide people to understand stroke risk and available resources.

The role is 30 hours per week, remote-ready with travel across the region. You must have strong communication, empathy and the ability to engage diverse groups; a driver’s licence and NZ eligibility are required.

Competenze

• Experience in health, community, rehabilitation, or disability sectors.
• Independent self-starter with empathy and engagement across ages.
• Well-developed time management and organisational skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication; capable trainer/presenter.
• Willingness to travel regionally with some nights away.
