Job summary

Alignerr seeks PhD-level biochemists to train AI models by creating advanced biochemistry problems and rigorous solutions. This is a fully remote hourly contract with 10–40 hours per week, enabling deep domain expertise to shape AI thinking without requiring prior AI background.

Ideal candidates hold a PhD in Biochemistry or related field, with strong knowledge in enzymology, metabolism, and protein science, and excellent scientific communication skills for precise explanations.

Qualifications

• PhD in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or related field.
• Strong domain knowledge in structural biology, enzymology, metabolism, or bioinformatics.
• Clear scientific writer able to explain complex concepts precisely.
• Detail-oriented with accuracy in diagrams and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Design expert-level biochemistry challenges to stress-test AI reasoning.
• Author gold-standard, step-by-step solutions for benchmarking.
• Audit AI outputs for correctness, safety, and scientific standards.
• Provide structured feedback to improve model reasoning.
