Placements24 is seeking a skilled Remote BIM Modeler to create, manage and coordinate Building Information Models using leading software. Work with remote design teams to ensure BIM data integrity and efficiency throughout the project lifecycle, from Queenstown and beyond.

The role requires proficiency in Revit and Navisworks, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fully remote setup.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a BIM Modeler or similar role.
• Proficiency in Revit for architectural, structural, or MEP modeling.
• Familiarity with Navisworks for clash detection and coordination.
• Understanding of BIM principles and workflows.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Strong communication skills for remote collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop accurate and detailed 3D BIM models based on architectural and engineering drawings.
• Ensure BIM models comply with project-specific standards and BIM execution plans.
• Perform clash detection and report potential issues to the project team.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to resolve modeling discrepancies.
• Maintain and update BIM models as design changes occur.
• Assist in the generation of drawings and reports from BIM models.
