Job summary

Alignerr is seeking a Data Scientist (Masters) or PhD professional to act as an AI Data Trainer. This is a fully remote, hourly contract role offering 10–40 hours per week, with a focus on challenging, auditing, and refining cutting-edge AI models.

You will design advanced data science problems, author precise step-by-step solutions, and audit AI-generated code across Python, R, and SQL while working independently on your own schedule.

Qualifications

• Must hold Masters or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a quantitative discipline.
• Strong foundation in supervised/unsupervised learning, deep learning, statistical inference, and model evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Design advanced data science challenges to test frontier AI models.
• Author ground-truth solutions with Python/R scripts and SQL queries.
• Audit AI-generated code for accuracy and efficiency using ML libraries.
• Identify logic gaps in AI reasoning and document actionable feedback.
• Work independently with task-based assignments on your schedule.
