Job summary

Alignz Recruitment in Wellington seeks an experienced driver to join civil and infrastructure crews across the region. You will operate Class 2 and/or Class 4 trucks, transporting materials and equipment to support major projects, while prioritising safety and teamwork on site.

Working around live construction, you will perform daily vehicle checks, adapt to on-site conditions, and help the crew as needed. A valid NZ licence and WTR endorsements are required.

Qualifications

• Current NZ Class 2 or Class 4 licence.
• WTR endorsements – essential.
• Civil, roading or construction experience preferred.
• Confident working around heavy machinery.
• Reliable and able to work as part of a crew.
• Good attitude and strong focus on safety.
• Physically fit and willing to help outside the cab when needed.

Responsibilities

• Driving Class 2 and/or Class 4 trucks.
• Transporting materials, equipment and aggregate.
• Operating machinery depending on experience.
• Supporting civil and roading crews on site.
• Working around live construction and road environments.
• Completing daily vehicle and equipment checks.
• Following site health & safety requirements.
