Job summary

NZTA – NZ Transport Agency seeks a lead for regulatory Quality Management to drive the development and continuous improvement of the quality framework that supports consistent regulatory delivery. You will translate strategy into practical, risk-based quality management and partner across the business to embed assurance, monitoring and improvement.

You will influence stakeholders, coach teams, and ensure practices remain fit-for-purpose across the organisation.

Qualifications

Experience designing and implementing quality systems in real-world contexts.
Strong ability to influence, coach and lead cross-functional teams.
Ability to interpret legislation and apply it to regulatory practice.
Commitment to continuous improvement and learning.
Knowledge of Te Ao Māori, tikanga and Te Tiriti o Waitangi in the public sector.

Responsibilities

Lead and evolve NZTA's regulatory Quality Management System.
Develop quality frameworks, standards and guidance for consistent practice.
Embed assurance and feedback mechanisms driving quality and improvement.
Analyse quality data to identify risks, trends and opportunities.
Provide evidence-based advice to inform decisions and performance.
Partner across the business to integrate quality into processes and digital solutions.
Build relationships across NZTA and the regulatory sector to promote excellence.
