Job summary

Environmental Protection Authority NZ in Wellington seeks three Advisors to support processing of applications under the Fast-track Approvals Act 2024 and other resource management legislation. You will assist Application Leads, perform basic GIS mapping, maintain stakeholder relationships, handle website communications and procurement tasks.

Qualifications

Tertiary qualification in resource management, natural sciences, or related field.
Clear, concise written and oral communication.
GIS experience desirable.
Ability to work under pressure, set priorities and achieve results in tight deadlines.
Good MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

Assist Application Leads with processing of applications in a timely manner under statutory requirements.
Perform basic GIS map making to support required documents.
Maintain good stakeholder relationships and website communications.
Undertake procurement for services and contract management.
