Job summary

The role focuses on building company-wide training, policy implementation and reporting on compliance status to senior leadership, with emphasis on proactive risk management and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science or related field.
• 3–5 years of compliance or regulatory experience.
• Strong knowledge of New Zealand environmental and health and safety regulations.
• Experience delivering Integrated Management System (IMS) training.
• Proven track record in managing consent processes and securing permits.

Responsibilities

• Oversee regulatory compliance programs, policies and procedures.
• Manage consent applications and liaise with authorities to secure permits.
• Develop and maintain IMS policies, processes and staff training.
• Provide training to staff to build regulatory, environmental and safety capability.
• Prepare regular compliance reports for senior management.
