You will manage budgets, mentor staff and ensure performance targets are met while fostering collaboration across council teams to support Auckland's growth and development.

Qualifikationen

• Tertiary qualification in civil or environmental engineering
• Knowledge of New Zealand Building legislation and standards
• Broad knowledge of land development and related regulations (Resource Management Act) preferred
• Ability to manage a significant budget and establish and use effective systems to monitor financial performance
• Highly developed interpersonal and relationship skills

• Lead and manage a team of development engineers providing technical advice on asset approvals, building consents and resource consents.
• Ensure process and performance are maintained through management of work volumes and drive the unit's strategic direction.
• Provide leadership, training and direction to the team and ensure targets are met.
