Job summary

Health NewZealand | Te Whatu Ora is seeking a NZ Registered Nurse for Ward 9 on a fixed-term basis. Post-registration experience in an acute care setting is required, and the role runs for 7 months at 0.8 FTE with a diverse caseload.

Shifts span Monday to Sunday (AM/PM/night). You will join a collaborative, patient partnership model of care and contribute to quality and safety on the ward.

Qualifications

• You must be a NZ Registered Nurse with a current NZNC practising certificate and post-registration nursing experience in an acute care setting.
• You will be a team player, who enjoys keeping up to date with clinical practice, have excellent organisational and time management skills and a commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in an acute care setting on Ward 9.
• Collaborate with the ward team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain high standards of clinical practice and quality.

About the Role

Ward 9 has a strong Orthopaedic,Gynaecology and Otolaryngology focus providing diverse opportunities across allspecialties in an acute and elective environment. We practice in acollaborative patient partnership model of care to achieve best outcomes forour patients/families and whānau.Shifts will be rostered across Mondayto Sunday, AM, PM, mid-shifts and night shifts.

About the Team/Location

We have a combination of RegisteredNurses and Health Care Assistants working on the ward.
