Job summary

Health New Zealand in Auckland is seeking a Registered Nurse with recent surgical nursing experience to join Ward 78 at Auckland City Hospital. This permanent role offers opportunities to extend clinical knowledge across multiple surgical specialties, in a friendly and supportive team.

You will contribute to delivering high-quality patient care, work in a fast-paced environment, and have opportunities to develop skills in areas such as bariatric surgery and advanced nutrition.

Working within our fast-paced surgical ward, you will care for patients across a broad range of specialties, including general surgery, liver, pancreatic, oesophageal, colorectal, endocrine services, gastroenterology and trauma. You will be supported to develop your skills while caring for patients with complex needs in a role that is both professionally challenging and highly rewarding.
