Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the surgical day ward in Taranaki. This fixed-term, part-time position (0.9 FTE) runs until August 2027 and offers the chance to work within a supportive peri-operative team, providing patient-centred nursing care.
The successful applicant will hold NZ Nursing Registration, demonstrate ability to handle varied workloads, and have at least 2 years of surgical experience.

Our team plays an integral part in the peri-operative phase and surgical post operative care, we work closely with theatre, endoscopy, CNS and many of the specialist within health New Zealand Taranaki. We care for patients undergoing a board range of specialities in a high turnover environment. Our priority is to provide professional and exceptional quality nursing care to our patients, their whanau, staff and visitors whilst in our department.
