Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is seeking Registered Nurses to join our 16-bed ICU/CCU/HDU at Taranaki Base Hospital on a fixed term, part-time basis. You will provide high-standard critical care within a dedicated team in a modern facility and participate in orientation and ongoing education.

Applicants should hold current NZ APC, have at least two years of acute care experience, and bring ICU/CCU/HDU exposure.

• Must hold a current APC and be registered to practice in New Zealand.
• Minimum of two years' acute care experience in New Zealand.
• Recent ICU/CCU/HDU experience in the last year is preferred.
• Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
• Adaptability and flexibility to work in a changing environment.
• Post graduate certificate in critical care preferred or willingness to complete.

About you

Applications are invited for Registered Nurses to join our team in a 16 bed multi specialty ICU CCU, HDU. To be successful you require the following:

• A current APC
• A minimum of two years New Zealand acute experience
• Worked in an acute environment within the last year
• Previous ICU CCU and or HDU experience is preferred
• Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
• Adaptability and flexibility
• Ability to work in a changeable environment
• Strong desire to and be self-motivated to learn
• Post graduate certificate in critical care preferred or commitment to complete the same is required.
