Job summary

Metlifecare’s Gulf Rise village in Red Beach is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse on a fixed-term contract to cover parental leave. The role is 24 hours per week with three shifts from Monday to Wednesday, 6:45 am to 3:15 pm.

A current Practising Certificate and first aid certificate are required, with strong aged-care nursing experience preferred. Join a caring team delivering high-quality nursing care in a stunning retirement village environment, where empathy and teamwork are essential

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse join our fabulous team at Gulf Rise in Red Beach.

The role is for a Fixed Term till 27th March 2027 to cover Parental Leave.

24 hours a week - 3 shifts from Monday to Wednesday 6.45 am to 3.15 pm.

We offer top hourly rates as well as an amazing team to work in!

What you will be doing

• Clinical assessment, planning and implementation of nursing care.
• Effective communication and clinical problem-solving skills
• Work collaboratively with other team members
• Develop and review care plans in consultation with our residents and their families.
• Provide compassionate and high-level care.

About you
You pride yourself on delivering an outstanding service to our residents and have empathy for the older person. You also have:

• Current Practicing Certificate and first aid certificate
• Strong nursing experience, aged care - even better!
• Up to date knowledge of wound care management
• Demonstrate excellent leadership and communication skills.
• You are also a team player with a caring, respectful manner which is important in our aged care environment.
