Job summary

Metlifecare’s Gulf Rise village in Red Beach is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse on a fixed-term contract to cover parental leave. The role is 24 hours per week with three shifts from Monday to Wednesday, 6:45 am to 3:15 pm.

A current Practising Certificate and first aid certificate are required, with strong aged-care nursing experience preferred. Join a caring team delivering high-quality nursing care in a stunning retirement village environment, where empathy and teamwork are essential

Qualifications

• Current Practising Certificate and first aid certification required.
• Strong nursing experience in aged care is preferred.
• Knowledge of wound care management is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Clinical assessment, planning and implementation of nursing care.
• Effective communication and clinical problem-solving with residents and families.
• Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure seamless service.
• Develop and review care plans in consultation with residents and families.
• Provide compassionate, high-level care to residents.
