Job summary

Stellar Recruitment is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our community health team in New Zealand. This highly autonomous role involves delivering in-home nursing care to long-term service users, conducting needs assessments, and supporting goals in collaboration with families and whānau.

The successful applicant will have a NZ Registered Nurse APC, at least five years post-registration, a full NZ driver's license, and experience with ACC is preferred.

Qualifications

• NZ Registered Nurse APC is required.
• Five years' post-registration nursing experience in New Zealand.
• Full, clean New Zealand driver's licence.
• Experience with ACC is preferred.
• Community nursing experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide community-based nursing support to long-term service users in their homes.
• Conduct phone-based needs assessments and care reviews.
• Monitor, review, and support service user goals and progress.
• Ensure incidents and accidents are reported accurately and promptly.
• Deliver care across clinical areas including medication management, enteral feeding, falls prevention, pressure injury prevention, and wound care.
• Work autonomously while managing a diverse caseload.
• Understanding of ACC and Ministry of Health community contracts is advantageous.

About Our Role:
