Job summary

Metlifecare is seeking casual Registered Nurses to join the team at Fairway Gardens in Golflands. If you value compassionate care and flexible shifts, this role lets you contribute to meaningful resident wellbeing in a modern retirement village.

You'll work within a Team Nursing model, have access to MetFlex casual team, and a clear pathway from casual to permanent. APC and first aid cert expected, with InterRai training preferred.

Qualifications

• Current APC and first aid certificate required.
• InterRai training is highly desirable.
• Competence with medication management and administration techniques.
• Up-to-date knowledge of wound care management.
• Care, empathy, and compassion for the elderly.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a Team Nursing environment.

Responsibilities

• Clinical assessment, planning, and implementation of nursing care.
• Effective communication and clinical problem-solving skills.
• Work collaboratively with other team members.
• Develop and review care plans in consultation with residents and their families.
• Provide compassionate and high-level care.
