Registered Nurse - Acute Assessment Unit

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse - Acute Assessment Unit, you will provide high - quality, patient-centred care to patients requiring rapid assessment and short-term treatment. Youll use your clinical judgement to assess, plan, and deliver care, working closely with patients and whānau in a dynamic acute setting.

This is a fast - paced and varied role where youll manage changing priorities, support patient flow, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure timely and safe care. Youll also play a key role in patient education, ongoing assessment, and contributing to a positive team environment focused on delivering excellent outcomes.

About the Team/Service/ Location

The Acute Assessment Unit at Hawkes Bay Fallen Soldiers Memorial Hospital is a key service supporting urgent patient assessment, treatment, and flow through the hospital. Youll be part of a collaborative team committed to delivering safe, efficient, and high - quality care.
