Bupa Care Services NZ Limited is hiring a Registered Nurse for a permanent full-time role based at Wattle Downs, South Auckland. The position includes 32 hours per week with a 4 on/2 off roster, covering afternoons and nights.

You will lead shifts, make clinical decisions, and ensure high-quality care for residents. Applicants should hold a current Nursing Council Annual Practising Certificate and bring strong documentation, communication, and patient safety skills to the team.

Qualifications

• Current Nursing Council of New Zealand Annual Practising Certificate.
• NZ aged care experience preferred; other RN backgrounds considered.
• Demonstrated improvements in care plans, assessments and documentation quality.
• Identifies health changes early and acts to ensure safety.
• Communicates effectively with residents, whānau, teams and providers.
• Maintains clinical standards, accurate documentation and quality improvement.
• Confident using clinical systems, records and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts, make clinical decisions and support care staff.
• Ensure residents receive consistent, high-quality care across afternoons and nights.
• Be the go-to person on your shifts with clear direction.
• Collaborate with the broader care team to ensure safety and well-being.
