Job summary

St John of God Hauora Trust in Halswell, Canterbury, is seeking caring Registered Nurses to join our Clinical team at a residential hospital level of care facility. Day shifts are currently available, supporting people living with physical and/or neurological disabilities.

You will require NZ registration with NZ visa eligibility, and enjoy working independently with strong clinical assessment and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with NZ registration and valid NZ visa eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for residents in a disability-focused residential facility.
• Maintain clinical documentation and care plans.
• Assess and respond to emergencies and escalate as needed.
• Work independently and as part of a supportive team.

At Hauora Ability Services Halswell we are looking for caring and committed Registered Nurses to join our Clinical team. Being a residential hospital level of care facility, we support and care for people living with physical and/or neurological disabilities. Day shifts are currently available.

Desired Skills And Experience

• An experienced Registered Nurse with current NZ registration and appropriate NZ Visa requirements
• Having experience in disability, rehabilitation, aged care or a related healthcare setting will be an advantage
• Be confident working independently
• Have strong clinical assessment and communication skills
• Maintain clinical documentation and care plans
• Managing emergencies and escalating concern appropriately.

Hauora Ability Services Halswell supports people living with disability to lead engaging and fulfilling lives. Our 60-room residential site is situated in attractive grounds with award-winning gardens. The facility has an onsite gym and Rehabilitation and Therapy team, who support residents living in our care. Our services employ over 300 people in Canterbury and Wellington.
