Job summary

Oceania Group in Auckland is seeking a casual Registered Nurse based at Eden Village to deliver high-quality care within a nurse-led service. You will practice at full scope, coordinate daily care, and contribute to residents’ wellbeing while supporting families and staff.

You must hold a current NZ Annual Pract practising Certificate, demonstrate strong communication, time management, and leadership, and be flexible to rostered shifts.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current NZ Annual Practising Certificate.
• Commitment to delivering excellent service.
• Desirable: InterRAI experience (not essential).

Responsibilities

Job description

As a casual Registered Nurse with Oceania based at Eden Village, you will have the opportunity to practice at full scope within a nurse-led service. Your clinical expertise and judgment will play a vital role in providing comprehensive care and support to our residents. You will coordinate daily care needs, inspire others, and build strong connections and relationships with our residents and their families.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Coordinating the daily care needs of our residents while inspiring and supporting others
• Providing comprehensive nursing assessments and interventions, both independently and collaboratively
• Making critical decisions regarding resident care and demonstrating autonomy
• Building connections and relationships with residents and their families (and allied health professionals in the community)
• Providing leadership and guidance to care staff and team members.

What You'll Bring:

• A current New Zealand Annual Practising Certificate
• A commitment to delivering excellent service
• Previous experience using clinical systemsDesirable: InterRai experience (but not essential)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Effective time management abilities
• The capability to coach and mentor other staff
• Flexibility to work on a rostered shift basis
