Job summary

Quay Park Specialist Day Hospital in Auckland CBD is seeking an experienced PACU Registered Nurse to join our perioperative team. In this role you will assess, monitor and support patients during recovery from surgery and anaesthesia, ensuring safe, patient-centred care.

This permanent position is 75 hours per fortnight on a 4-week roster. You will work alongside anaesthetists, surgeons and a multidisciplinary team in a privately funded facility that values development, wellbeing and diversity.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with perioperative/PACU experience (NZRN) preferred.
• Current practicing certificate in New Zealand.

• Assess, monitor and support patients during recovery from surgery and anaesthesia.
• Collaborate with anaesthetists, surgeons and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, patient‑centred care.

As a PACU Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in assessing, monitoring, and supporting patients during their recovery from surgery and anaesthesia. Working alongside anaesthetists, surgeons, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams, you will help ensure safe, effective, and patient-centred care.

This is a permanent position for 75 hours per fortnight (4 week roster rotation) Located at Quay Park Surgical Centre in the Auckland CBD.
