Job summary

Child Pre-School Education Ltd on Auckland's North Shore is seeking a registered ECE teacher for a Preschool 4–5 year olds class. This full-time, permanent role supports children’s learning through responsive teaching, intentional planning, and collaborative teamwork.

Child® Preschool Education, located in the beautiful Smales Farm area on Auckland's North Shore, is seeking an enthusiastic and innovative registered Early Childhood Education (ECE) Teacher with New Zealand experience to join our Preschool Classroom for children aged 4 to 5 years.

We are looking for someone who:

• Enjoys sharing ideas and collaborating as part of a supportive team.
• Is an excellent communicator who builds strong relationships with parents, whānau, and both current and prospective families within our local community.
• Can work effectively within a dynamic teaching team that enables, encourages, and empowers all children, respecting their individual ages, stages, and developmental needs.
• Has a solid understanding of programme planning, assessment, evaluation, internal evaluation, centre policies, procedures, and daily routines.
• Possesses a sound knowledge of Te Whāriki and demonstrates strong written communication and grammar skills.
• Is organised, takes pride in their work, and enjoys embracing new challenges.

As part of our teaching preschool team, you will be actively involved in children's learning and development every day. You will enjoy spending quality time with children, engaging in meaningful conversations, supporting their learning journeys, and extending their development through purposeful teaching practices.

This is a full-time position (40 hours per week), with shifts rostered between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm.
