Onerahi Free Kindergarten, under Northland Kindergarten Association, is seeking a registered kaiako to support tamariki aged 2–6 in a welcoming, inclusive learning environment in Whangārei. You will collaborate with a small team of kaiako and a part-time administrator across five daily sessions.

The successful applicant will contribute to high-quality early childhood education, uphold Te Tiriti o Waitangi, and build meaningful relationships with children, whānau, and the wider community.

Qualifications

• Must hold a recognised NZ ECE qualification (minimum Dip Teaching ECE).
• Current practicing certificate.
• First aid certificate.
• Reside in NZ and eligible to work.

Responsabilités

• Provide high-quality inclusive early learning experiences for tamariki.
• Collaborate with a team of kaiako to create welcoming environments.
• Uphold Te Tiriti o Waitangi in practice and engage whānau and community.
• Support positive learning outcomes and relationships with tamariki and whānau.
