Job summary

Riverhills Early Learning Centre in Auckland is seeking a qualified kaiako to join our warm, family-focused early childhood team. The successful candidate will plan learning experiences using Te Whāriki, support both child-led learning and intentional teaching, and maintain strong relationships with tamariki and whānau.

The role requires NZ ECE teaching qualification, Teaching Council registration with a practising certificate, and eligibility to work in New Zealand.

Qualifications

• Hold a recognised New Zealand ECE teaching qualification.
• Have current Teaching Council registration and a practising certificate.
• Be eligible to work in New Zealand.

Responsibilities

• Plan meaningful learning experiences using Te Whāriki.
• Observe, record, and celebrate children's learning progress.
• Collaborate with whānau and teaching colleagues.
