Job summary

Braemar Hospital in Hamilton, New Zealand, seeks a Registered Anaesthetic Nurse or Registered Anaesthetic Technician. The role provides clinical and technical support to anaesthetists in theatre, under the supervision of the Charge Anaesthetic Technician.

Full-time position with potential for part-time or casual arrangements. The successful candidate will hold a certificate in Anaesthetic Technology or equivalent and a current practising certificate, with preference for those having at least one

Qualifications

Certificate in Anaesthetic Technology or equivalent.
Current practising certificate with Medical Sciences Council or the Nursing Council of New Zealand.
Minimum of one year post graduate experience as a Registered Anaesthetic Nurse or as a Registered Anaesthetic Technician is preferable but will also consider new graduates.
Demonstrated clear and professional communication skills and the ability to remain calm and collected in a high-pressure situation.
