Job summary

Natthawaran International Ltd, T/A Ai Traditional Thai Massage in Dunedin is seeking two skilled Massage Therapists. This full-time role offers a minimum of 30 hours per week to maintain high service standards.

Duties include soft tissue massage, injury prevention, relaxation therapies, and rehab guidance. Requirements include at least 2 years of experience or a massage-related certificate, good people skills, and knowledge of Thai massage is preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
• A massage-related qualification can replace the work experience requirement.
• Good understanding of the body channel system.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of Thai massage is preferred.
• Can-do attitude and diligent character.

Responsibilities

• Massaging the soft tissues of the body to assist healing.
• Utilizing a range of massage techniques to enhance performance and prevent injury.
• Administering treatments to promote relaxation, improve circulation and relieve muscle tension.
• Assessing and treating specific soft tissue dysfunction and providing rehabilitation advice.
• Employing other massage techniques and complementary aids to assist recovery.
• Assessing client’s physical condition and advising on stretching exercises and relaxation techniques.
