Job summary

Restaurant Brands in Auckland is seeking an exceptional Internal Audit Manager (NZ & AU) to lead the regional audit and assurance programme across multiple brands and 250 locations. You'll report to the Audit & Risk Director and oversee risk-based audits spanning financial, operational, compliance, technology and restaurant operations.

You will build trusted relationships with senior leaders, coach a small team, drive data-driven insights, track remediation and present to the Audit & Risk

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, risk, information systems or related field.
• CIA, CA, CPA, CISA or similar professional qualification.
• 8+ years' experience in Internal Audit, Risk, Controls Assurance or related discipline.
• Big Four or professional services experience preferred.
• Experience in retail, hospitality, QSR or other multi-site environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead NZ & AU regional internal audit delivery and annual plan.
• Deliver audits across financial, operational, compliance and technology environments.
• Ensure audits align with global internal audit standards.
• Strengthen governance, risk management and internal control frameworks.
• Identify improvement opportunities and provide practical recommendations.
• Monitor remediation actions and escalate significant risks.
• Build trusted relationships with senior leaders across NZ and AU.
• Present meaningful insights to executives and governance forums.
