Suncorp New Zealand is seeking an Audit Manager to provide independent assurance across the business, strengthening governance, risk management, and internal controls while leading complex audits with senior stakeholders.

The role focuses on delivering high-quality audit outputs, coaching the team, and driving continuous improvement through data analytics and technology to promote value across the organisation.

Competenze

• Proven internal audit, risk management, or assurance experience in a complex corporate environment.
• Strong understanding of internal control frameworks and auditing standards.
• Ability to lead engagements, analyse complex information, and provide risk-based recommendations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management across all levels.
• Professional qualifications such as IIA, CA, or CPA are highly regarded.

• Lead end-to-end internal audit engagements, ensuring audits are completed on time and within budgets.
• Identify key business risks and controls, providing insights and recommendations.
• Develop audit scopes, testing strategies, work programs, and audit reports.
• Build relationships with stakeholders, risk teams, and audit partners.
