Job summary

Night ‘n Day Foodstores is seeking a Regional Field Manager based in Dunedin to support franchisees across the upper South Island. Regular monthly travel is required to develop relationships and drive performance within the network.

The role acts as the key liaison between franchisees and the franchisor, delivering coaching, guidance, and practical help to achieve business goals and uphold Night ‘n Day standards across stores.

Night ‘n Day Foodstores have been operating across the country for over 35 years. We are 100% New Zealand owned and operated, with 60+ stores located from Invercargill to Whangarei. The Support Centre is based in Dunedin, the home town of the first Night ‘n Day store in Regent Road.

About the Opportunity

The Regional Field Manager is the key link between the Franchisee and Franchisor, providing full support for their business, including business coaching and assisting franchisees in establishing and achieving their goals. The region we are recruiting for is the upper South Island; the job is based in Dunedin, and regular monthly travel is an integral part of the role.

As an ambassador for the Night ‘n Day brand, you will build strong relationships and develop a deep understanding of the group's requirements.

Key responsibilities:

• Communicate information between the franchisor and franchisee in a diplomatic manner to gain support for franchise policies.
• Help franchisees to objectivelyanalyse KPI and financial management issues impacting their profitability.
• Provide franchisees with practical advice and support to improve the efficiency of their daily operations.
• Help franchisees grow their daily sales and local market share in a way that is consistent with Night ‘n Day’s brand and marketing strategy.
• Encourage franchisees to be positive and remain focused on specific goals and actions that will improve their performance.
• Assist franchisees to enhance their knowledge and skills as small business owners.
• Organise and conduct meetings that constructively engage franchisees and encourage a two-way flow of ideas and information.
• Communicate and reinforce consistency across the group to ensure Night ‘n Day standards are maintained.

About you

• Highly engaged and energetic with a background in the FMCG industry, retail, or account management.
• Ability to travel; this is a necessary part of the role to develop and maintain relationships with franchisees in the upper South Island.
• Professional presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to train others by leading by example.
• Skilled with computers, data processing, and proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to balance field work with office and administration tasks.
• Ability to work autonomously, utilizing strong time management and a planned approach to deliver outcomes.
