Job summary

WM New Zealand is seeking an Operator & Spotter – Recycling to join the North Shore Refuse & Recycling Transfer Station. This hands-on role supports safe operation, maximising resource recovery and meeting recycling targets.

You will perform line sorting, run pre-start checks, support equipment operation, and assist with administration and site housekeeping, contributing to a cleaner, safer environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily VCR reporting and assist with site operations.
• Carry out pre-start checks, basic maintenance, and post-operation cleaning of equipment.
• Sort on conveyor lines and support other operators as needed.
• Direct customer traffic and maintain site cleanliness and records to ensure safety.
