Job summary

WM New Zealand is seeking an Operator to process recycling collected from various sources and prepare it for transport. This role requires reliability and teamwork, with the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining safe and accurate methods.

Qualifications

• Reliable, safety-conscious, and willing to learn.
• Current OSH Forklift Certificate, F Endorsement, or relevant forklift operating experience (highly desirable).
• Current First Aid Certificate or First Aid knowledge, with a strong commitment to health and safety.
• Physically fit, able to lift 20–30kg throughout the shift.
• Flexible with working days and hours as required.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to travel to work using your own transport.
• Experience working in plastics manufacturing or material compounding would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Process recycling collected from various sources and prepare the material for transport.
