Job summary

Te Kura - The Correspondence School in Wellington City is seeking a Recruitment Coordinator to support hiring across allocated Learning Delivery portfolios, including Early Childhood and Overseas.

This full-time, on-site role is a fixed-term Parental Leave Cover from September 2026 to February 2027, with opportunities to influence Te Kura's end-to-end recruitment model. The role involves advertising, screening, interviews, pre-employment checks and offers to attract great people.

Qualifications

• Use sound judgement and take a proactive approach to solving problems.
• Enjoy coordinating activities and keeping things moving.
• Comfortable working in an environment where processes evolve.
• Previous recruitment experience would be an advantage but is not essential.

Responsibilities

• Support recruitment activity from advertising through onboarding.
• Coordinate candidate screening, interviews, pre-employment checks and offers.
• Work with managers to implement end-to-end recruitment.
