Odyssey is seeking a full-time Support Worker for our Royal Oak residential team in Auckland. The role is 40 hours per week, Sunday to Thursday, within a Therapeutic Community framework to assist tāngata whai ora on their path to recovery and wellbeing.

Ideal applicants bring experience as a Support Worker or similar, a Level 4 Health and Care certificate (or willingness to pursue), strong communication, and a good understanding of Māori and Pacific cultures and Te Tiriti o Waitangi.

Qualificações

• Experience as a Support Worker or similar role.
• Level 4 Certificate in Health and Care or willingness to pursue it.
• Interest in and willingness to learn the Therapeutic Community model.
• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and its relevance to the role.
• NZ Driver's Licence required.

Responsabilidades

• Support residents on their journey towards recovery and wellbeing in a residential setting.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team within a Therapeutic Community approach.
• Maintain reliable, honest, and person-centered care delivery.
