Les Mills Dunedin is looking for a friendly Receptionist & Club Support team member to welcome members, handle inquiries, and keep the gym running smoothly with a positive, professional vibe.

You may cover Duty Manager shifts, assist with cleanliness and safety checks, and help create an energetic, welcoming environment for health and wellness enthusiasts during varied hours, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles preferred.
• Ability to engage with members and resolve queries.
• Comfort with flexible, variable shifts.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist gym members and visitors, answer questions, and direct them as needed.
• Support club operations to deliver a high-quality fitness experience; cover Duty Manager shifts when required.

Right now, we need a Receptionist & Club Support team member to join our team at our gym based in Les Mills Dunedin.

Reporting to the Reception Manager, you will be working as part of a tightly-knit Reception & Club Support team and may cover some Duty Manager shifts and responsibilities. This job is hands-on and involves supporting the club to deliver a world-class fitness experience to members all the time. So, if you're shy, it's probably not your thing.

You will ideally:

• Have experience in holding the fort in a similar role to undertake Duty Manager responsibilities when required
• Have a genuine interest in people and providing world class service
• Have high levels of energy and be proactive about meeting new people
• Have great banter and play nice - We're a supportive bunch around here
• Have a sharp eye for cleanliness and spotting any hazards around the gym
• Have your own fitness story and be committed to health and wellness lifestyle - Walking handstands are optional!

This is casual and requires shifts across the entire week including weekends and evenings. But hey, once you've found your bliss, the hours are irrelevant, right?
