Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora, Waikato is seeking friendly receptionists to join the Emergency Department team at Waikato Hospital. 0.8 FTE across four shifts per week, a 12-month fixed term covering parental leave, including some night shifts.

You will deliver high-quality front-desk service, verify patient information, liaise with patients and clinical staff, and support a positive, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a receptionist or in administration, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to excellence and integrity in all interactions.
  • A proactive approach to personal responsibility and well-being.
  • The ability to handle shift work with stamina and enthusiasm.
