Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Southern has a vacancy for a Service Booking Administrator in Radiology (Nuclear Medicine). You will support the Radiology service with fast, accurate booking and administrative tasks to keep patient journeys smooth.

The role requires experience in busy administration, strong MS Office skills, and meticulous data entry. You will work with clinical teams to ensure timely referrals and compliant handling of patient information.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy administration role.
• Strong knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent word processing and data entry with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate up-to-date patient records in Radiology systems.
• Collaborate with admin, nursing and clinical teams to ensure timely patient journeys.
• Receipt referrals via Southern electronic systems, email and mail; process daily.
• Check booking forms for completeness; source missing information as needed.
• Load patients to the waitlist with dates and necessary data; ensure privacy compliance.
