Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in logistics or related field.
• 5–7 years of management experience in a distribution center.
• Experience leading large operational teams.
• In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and distribution logistics.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations in warehousing.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• On-site Queenstown (Eastern Cape) required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily distribution center operations: receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service levels.
• Lead, motivate, and develop a team of distribution center staff.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Oversee inventory management to maintain accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
• Manage transportation logistics for timely, cost-effective deliveries.
• Implement and optimize WMS and related technologies.
• Monitor KPIs and take corrective actions as needed.
