Job summary

Vision Surveys is seeking experienced Construction Surveyors willing to relocate from New Zealand to Australia to join their Queensland team. Opportunities span Brisbane, Gold Coast, Rockhampton, Gladstone and Airlie Beach, with roster options that suit different habits.

Prepare surveys, manage data, and liaise with clients on diverse civil and infrastructure projects. The role emphasises mobility, accuracy, and collaboration within a down-to-earth team, with excellent pay rates and relocation

Qualifications

• Leica or Trimble surveying equipment.
• Experience with surveying software such as 12d, Magnet or AutoCAD.
• Degree or Diploma in Surveying or a related discipline.
• Previous experience working as a Surveyor or in a similar surveying role.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Current open driver's licence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field surveys, site measurements and data collection.
• Prepare survey plans, reports and spatial data outputs.
• Operate surveying instruments including GPS, total stations and digital levels.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications and safety requirements.
• Liaise with clients, engineers, site managers and internal teams.
• Manage project documentation and maintain accurate records.
• Report to and communicate with the Survey Manager.
