Job summary

ACC in Wellington is seeking a Quality Manager to provide independent quality assurance across all phases of delivery within an Agile Release Train. You will work with System Architects, Product Owners, Test Leaders and DevOps practitioners to strengthen delivery quality and shape ACC's Quality Practice.

The appointing salary for this role is $117,787 to $152,430 based on experience. ACC offers a comprehensive benefits package including a 9% superannuation scheme with features like no mandatory

Qualifications

• Proven success leading quality and testing to deliver outcomes in complex technology environments.
• Strong knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing and testing frameworks.
• Experience working within Agile delivery environments, including Scrum, Kanban or SAFe.
• Ability to build trusted relationships and influence a wide range of technical and business stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making and conflict resolution skills.
• Proven planning, organisation and continuous improvement capability.
• Experience driving innovation and the adoption of modern ways of working.
• A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent knowledge, skills and experience.
• Demonstrated ability to apply and champion Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles in the design and delivery of systems, processes and ways of working.

As Quality Manager, you will provide independent quality assurance across all phases of delivery within an Agile Release Train (ART). Working closely with System Architects, Product Owners, Test Leaders and DevOps practitioners, you will help strengthen delivery quality, improve testing practices, support continuous improvement and shape the future direction of ACC's Quality Practice. This is an opportunity to influence large-scale technology delivery that supports ACC's purpose of helping people recover from injury and contributes to keeping Kiwis safe at work, at home, and everywhere in between.

The appointing salary for this role is $117,787 to $152,430 based on experience.
