Job summary

IHC New Zealand is seeking a Quality Improvement Leader (Northern) to partner with the Regional Manager in ensuring consistent quality frameworks and safety plans across the Northern region. You will lead improvements, engage with people supported and their whānau, and support national initiatives for service excellence.

The role requires regional travel, collaboration with Managers and frontline teams to embed best practice, and a commitment to delivering high-quality disability services.

Qualifications

• Experience in disability service delivery.
• Knowledge of Health and Disability Services Standards and quality and safety systems (audits, complaints, adverse events).
• Ability to investigate and analyse incidents, complaints and audit findings and implement corrective actions.
• Excellent analytical, investigative and report writing skills with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Regional Manager to implement quality framework and safety plans across the Northern region.
• Lead engagement with people we support and whānau to gather insights on service quality.
• Monitor and evaluate outcomes for people receiving services.
• Provide guidance to Managers on incidents, complaints, investigations and corrective actions.
• Conduct internal audits and prepare for external audits.
• Monitor action plans and contribute to policy development and quality training.
