Qualifications

• High level of agility and a flexible mind-set.
• Excellent facilitative and relationship management skills.
• Well developed influencing skills across strategic and operational audiences.
• A proven commitment of Quality Improvement and Assurance.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Te Tiriti of Waitangi awareness; addressing inequity for Māori.
• Knowledge of Te Reo advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality improvement activities to support whānau-centred care.
• Initiate and implement service development plans and clinical projects.
• Collaborate with Te Ara Maioha Leadership, Clinical Leadership and teams to embed our regional approach.
• Develop systems to measure tangata whaiora satisfaction and feedback including complaints and feedback.
• Uphold Health and Disability Standards through audits, accreditation and compliance processes.
• Actively work to eliminate inequitable health outcomes for Māori, tangata whaiora and whānau.
