Job summary

Compass Health in Wellington Central invites applications for a Quality Accreditation and Equity Facilitator to join the Primary Care Development Team. You will support practices to achieve accreditation and deliver quality-improvement initiatives across the network.

You will coach training for practice teams, analyse data to drive improvements, and advance equity projects for Māori, Pacific peoples and other priority populations. Hybrid options are available within the region.

Qualifications

  • At least 3–5 years of clinical experience.
  • Experience with accreditation processes.
  • Knowledge of quality improvement methodologies.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Commitment to improving health equity for Māori, Pacific peoples and other priority populations.
  • Experience in primary care is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Support practices through accreditation programmes, including Foundation and Cornerstone.
  • Facilitate quality improvement and equity-focused initiatives.
  • Deliver training, education and resources to practice teams.
  • Analyse and interpret data to drive continuous improvement.
  • Build strong relationships with practice teams and key stakeholders.
  • Support quality assurance, clinical governance and reporting activities.
  • Contribute to emergency preparedness and resilience planning across the network.

Quality Accreditation and Equity Facilitator

About the Role

We are seeking a Quality Accreditation and Equity Facilitator to join our Primary Care Development Team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced health professional who is passionate about quality improvement, accreditation, equity and supporting primary care teams to deliver excellent patient outcomes.

Working closely with general practices across the Greater Wellington region, you will provide coaching, training and support to help practices successfully achieve and maintain quality accreditation standards. You will also contribute to quality improvement initiatives, clinical governance activities, health equity projects and workforce development programmes.

Key Responsibilities

About You

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • A relevant clinical qualification with at least 3 to 5 years' clinical experience.
  • Experience working with accreditation processes.
  • Strong knowledge of quality improvement and change management methodologies.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • A commitment to improving health equity outcomes for Māori, Pacific peoples and other priority populations.
Ideally, You'll Also Have
  • Experience working in primary care or general practice.
  • Existing health sector networks.
  • Quality improvement and/or project management qualifications.
