Job summary

Complete Combustion Limited in Hamilton, North Island, is seeking a qualified tradesman to install, service and maintain gas and oil fired burners across commercial and industrial sites. The role offers training, a competitive hourly rate or salary based on experience, and weekly pay with on-call rosters.

Applicants with NZ Plumber/Gasfitter, Electrician, or Engineering qualifications and a clean NZ driver’s license are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Current NZ Plumber/Gasfitter, Electrician or Engineering qualification.
• Experience in commercial/industrial maintenance/engineering.
• Clean NZ Driver's Licence and willing to be on-call.
• Strong communication and high standard of workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Installation, servicing and maintenance of gas and oil fired burners.
• Work autonomously or in a team environment.
• Be on-call on a roster basis.
• Complete paperwork accurately within deadlines.
• Maintain health and safety on site.

Complete Combustion Limited – Hamilton, North Island

Qualified tradesman needed for busy Hamilton based company providing professional industrial and commercial combustion services all over the North Island.

Qualified technicians in this trade are rare, and top dollar will be offered to the right candidate.

Those with a Plumbing/Gasfitting, Engineering, Electrical, Pipefitting/Welding background will be preferred, but if you have a qualification in another trade and are looking for a change, send us your CV.

Training will be provided.

Key responsibilities

• Installation, servicing and maintenance of gas and oil fired burners
• Work autonomously or in a team environment
• Available to be on-call on a roster basis
• Complete paperwork to a high standard and within required timeframes
• Maintain a safe and responsible approach to the work site and health and safety practices

About you

• A current NZ Plumber/Gasfitter, Electrician, or Engineering qualification, or the like
• Experience in commercial / industrial maintenance / engineering
• Great communication skills, a positive attitude, and motivation to get the job done to a high standard within the required timeframes
• A current and clean full NZ Driver's License
• A clear criminal record (successful applicants will be submitted to a Police vetting check which is required by some of our customers)
• References to back up your work ethics and experience
• Eligible to work in New Zealand
• Competitive hourly rate or salary, based on experience with weekly pay
• On-call allowances and overtime rates as applicable
