Job summary

Onpoint Windscreens & Glass in Wanaka is seeking an experienced and qualified Automotive Glazier to join our team. The role focuses on automotive glazing, including windscreen replacements and repairs, removal and installation of glass, and ADAS recalibration.

The successful applicant will have at least 5 years in glazing, 2 years in ADAS recalibration, hold a valid driver’s licence, and work independently as part of a friendly local team. Some travel to other Onpoint branches may be required.

Qualifications

• Be a qualified glazier with solid automotive glazing experience.
• Minimum of 5 years in glazing with strong automotive glazing experience.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience carrying out ADAS camera recalibration.
• Able to carry out replacements, repairs and recalibrations to high standards.
• Excellent attention to detail, reliable, organised and able to work independently.
• Good communication and customer service skills; team player.
• Hold a valid driver's licence.

Responsibilities

• Windscreen replacements and repairs.
• Removal and installation of automotive glass.
• Side and rear vehicle glass replacement.
• ADAS camera recalibration as part of job duties.
• Identify and assess vehicle glass damage and safety defects.
• Provide great service and communicate with customers.
• Work both independently and as part of the wider Onpoint team.
• Assist other Onpoint branches when required.

About the role

Your main focus will be automotive glazing, including:

• Windscreen replacements and repairs
• Removal and installation of automotive glass
• Side and rear vehicle glass replacement
• ADAS camera recalibration
• Identifying and assessing automotive glass damage
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
• Providing great service and communicating with customers
• Working independently and as part of our wider team
• Assisting at our other Onpoint branches when required

The role will be primarily based in Wanaka, however some travel to our other branches may be required from time to time to support the wider team.

What we're looking for

The successful applicant must:

• Be a qualified glazier
• Have a minimum of 5 years' glazing experience, with strong automotive glazing experience

• Be confident carrying out automotive glass replacements, repairs and recalibrations
