Job summary

RobLawMax Recruitment is seeking an experienced NZ Certified Drainlayer for an on-site role across Auckland’s civil infrastructure projects. You will work on stormwater, wastewater, and water reticulation networks with a supportive crew and a strong Health & Safety culture.

Key responsibilities include installing pipelines, performing electrofusion welding, reading plans, and guiding the on-site team to deliver quality works on time. An immediate start is available with potential for permanency.

Qualifications

• NZ Certified Drainlayer qualification (essential).
• Full Class 1 driver's licence.
• Solid experience in civil drainage and water reticulation.
• Practical knowledge of electrofusion welding techniques.
• Ability to read plans and accurately set out work.
• W, T & R endorsements are an advantage.
• Strong work ethic with a focus on safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Install stormwater, wastewater, and water reticulation networks.
• Complete electrofusion welding and pipe installation to a high standard.
• Interpret plans, drawings, and project specifications.
• Safely operate drainage plant and equipment.
• Provide guidance and support to team members on site.
